What is particularly noteworthy is that the oil adsorbed/absorbed by our Adsorbent/Absorbent Granular can be
gradually decomposed over time by oleophilic microorganisms that feed on oil components and reside at the seabed or
in the soil. This unique characteristic is a result of our Absorbent Granule’s excellent compatibility with the soil
ecosystem.
Microorganisms can utilise the oil in our Absorbent Granule’s porous structure as a food source, initiating
the biodegradation process and achieving environmentally friendly treatment of the oil. This process not only reduces environmental impact but also supports the self-restoration and cycling of the soil ecosystem.
Traditional oil Adsorbents/Absorbents sinks to the bottom and leaches out the oil. Oil dispersants hinder oil-degrading
bacteria which are natural present in abundant amounts around the globe.
But the oil that is locked inside our Adsorbent/Absorbent Granular stays locked inside and can be consumed overtime by
the oleophilic bacteria present in the soil and at the bottom of the oceans, seas, lakes, and rivers.
